In collaboration with astragon Entertainment, sillalive studios yesterday afternoon released the successor to Bus Simulator 18: Bus Simulator 21! Besides two open-world maps, there are numerous licensed buses from popular manufacturers including some double-deckers and e-buses. Furthermore, the simulator offers both a single player and a multiplayer mode!
One of the core features this year, besides the buses which we will get to later, is the new US map called "Angel Shores". This map offers pretty much everything you would expect from a map from the West: a classic downtown, a harbour, a waterfront, typical suburbs, even a Chinatown district and much more!
Now, of course, the critical voices will immediately say that they would much rather go driving somewhere in Europe. And that is understandable. That's why the developers have decided to include the European map "Seaside Valley", which was already included in Bus Simulator 18, and the corresponding map extension, for which you were asked to pay again in the predecessor. So there are two maps that could hardly be more different.
The buses are another argument in favour of Bus Simulator 21. 30 buses from internationally known manufacturers, such as Mercedes-Benz, MAN, Iveco, Scania, Volvo or Setra, have been implemented. And no, these are not just "boring" solo or articulated buses. This year, for the very first time, there are double-deckers and e-buses, which are intended to bring the future of public transport into Bus Simulator 21 right now!
Apart from these core functions, Bus Simulator 21 offers several other great features, such as the further developed management tools for more game depth, a new pedestrian and traffic AI, reworked dynamic weather, day and night changes, various customising options for the buses and support for many popular steering wheels! In addition, this simulator, as one of the only bus simulators, offers a cooperative multiplayer mode!
Bus Simulator 21 has been available for purchase on Steam since yesterday, starting at 35€... Have you already got the simulator? If so, how do you like it?
