Last week on Thursday, ViewApp launched a new full product. After TramSim Vienna was released last year in October, TramSim Munich is now available for purchase, almost exactly one year later. It is important to note that Vienna is not required to play Munich. Both are independent products.
TramSim Munich offers you 3 lines:
- Line 23 (Münchner Freiheit - Schwabing Nord / ~10 min)
- Line 27 (Sendlinger Tor - Petuelring / ~20 min)
- Line 28 (Sendlinger Tor - Scheidplatz / ~17 min)
This time, a somewhat older vehicle is included as a tram at the beginning - the R2.2b. This vehicle is quite widespread throughout Germany and has shaped the Munich cityscape for a long time. Furthermore, some features were added with Munich: a (in our opinion) well-done weather system, seasons and wheelchair drivers. These features are to be transferred to Vienna in the near future, although we do not yet know a release date.
However, it has to be said that the simulator still has some bugs - especially concerning the AI traffic. ViewApp has announced fixes for this, which are expected to appear soon. The game is available for 34.95€ on Steam. If you already own TramSim Vienna, you pay a little less than 30€ and if you own the LOTUS DLC "Munich", you only pay about 9€.
