This is not simply just a new bus for Euro Truck Simulator 2. This is the moment when real passengers come into TruckersMP for the first time. Passengers wait at stops and bus stations, walk to the vehicle, board one by one and are then driven across Europe on a proper bus route. With exactly that, TruckersMP opens a door that has been talked about in the ETS2 community for years: away from pure freight, toward real passenger transport in multiplayer. Together with Heavy Vehicles Turkey, TruckersMP has officially released the Heavy Vehicles Turkey Coach Bus. The bus does not come alone, but directly with its own Bus Job Dispatcher, scheduled services, stops, boarding passengers, performance rating and statistics such as punctuality and service quality. Is this the biggest step so far toward a coach experience in ETS2 multiplayer?

In Euro Truck Simulator 2, many first think of motorways, large junctions, long distances and well-known cities. But sometimes it is not the biggest places that stay in our minds the most. Sometimes a narrow road along the Rhine, an old town centre, a bend between houses or a small company yard is enough for us to suddenly drive more carefully again. That is exactly why places like Bacharach, Boppard and St. Goar on the German Regions Map are so exciting: they do not make ETS2 bigger, but closer. But why does exactly that work so well?

Especially in the transport sector, it quickly becomes clear how much such developments can weigh. Many people know the feeling at the gas station – but what about in the simulator? For years in Euro Truck Simulator 2, we were mainly responsible for freight. Whether pallets, machines, dangerous goods or refrigerated cargo: the main thing was that the trailer somehow arrived at its destination. With Coaches, however, this basic feeling changes significantly. Euro Truck Simulator 2 on PlayStation 5 first sounds like the big technical question: Does the thing run cleanly, does it look good, does it not stutter at every second intersection? But SCS is now talking about something that reaches you much more directly – in the truest sense of the word. The DualSense controller is not supposed to simply be a replacement for keyboard or steering wheel, but make roads, damage and even small sounds noticeable or audible. Will the PS5 controller in ETS2 end up being more than just the thing you somehow get the truck around the corner with?

When we think of Euro Truck Simulator 2, many of us first picture motorways, rest areas, industrial zones, and European DLC countries. But alongside the official map, a modding world has been growing for years that pulls the simulator far beyond its name. The UK Rework is one of the projects in Euro Truck Simulator 2 that many of us have been watching for a long time. The old Great Britain map is visibly one of the areas that has aged a lot compared with newer DLCs and reworked regions. Now SCS Software is showing a new look at Scotland — and this time it is not only about nicer roads or more modern surroundings, but about a new city: Inverness. Could this be exactly what gives the UK Rework its next big push?

The Iberia ProMods Rework v1.40 does not start from zero. It builds on an already existing, large ETS2 region and still changes numerous places, roads, and details again. That is exactly what makes the number behind the mod so interesting: How many players still download an additional rework, even though Iberia is already represented officially and through ProMods?
