Today we want to introduce you to the program Cologne 3D, a program from Sunlight Games, which represents the city of Cologne.

Today, the developer studio Sunlight Games released its city simulation Cologne 3D on the Steam platform.

In Cologne 3D you can explore the historic Alter Markt in the old town as well as Gottfried-Hagen-Str. in Cologne-Kalk and get an idea of what it looks like there today. You can also view 3D views of some of the houses from the past.

In addition, there is the possibility on the Alter Markt to call up information about some houses and the Jan von Werth fountain and have it read aloud. Two types of advertising pillars can also be placed on Alter Markt. This version is a kind of technical demo to show what is possible and will be extended in the future if possible.


The project is to be developed further and further, and areas that can be viewed from Cologne are to become larger and larger.

There are two versions. Both for PC, one in 3D and one for virtual reality.
