New double-decker for OMSI 2: The ADL Enviro500 is coming in 2026!

The BVG version of the ADL Enviro500 is being recreated for OMSI 2. The vehicle is officially licensed by Alexander Dennis Limited and, according to Halycon, is based on official manufacturer documentation. BVG bus drivers were also involved in its development.

The announced features include a digital cockpit, the Atron AFR 4 ticket printer, a LAWO LED matrix, modern interior displays, a custom engine sound and automatic adjustment of the interior lighting to the outside brightness.

The new double-decker should be best suited for Berlin Linie 186 . The ADL Enviro500 is also in service there in real life, making it particularly credible to use it there.

To match this, a bundle consisting of Berlin Linie 186 and the ADL Enviro500 is scheduled to be available on Steam at release. Map owners will be able to purchase the new bus at a discount through it. The size of the discount has not yet been announced.

The release is planned for Q4 2026 . The screenshots shown so far are still from development and do not show the final version.
