20% Vienna sale + 5% extra: You can buy these trams now – and use them in CTS 26 Vienna from October!
Anyone preparing for the Vienna Expansion for City Transport Simulator 2026 therefore does not have to wait until October 13 to expand their own fleet. With the modern Flexity Wien and the historic E1 Wien, two vehicles are already available that fit the upcoming real-world map perfectly.
Both trams normally cost 17.99 euros each. In the current Vienna sale, the price initially drops by 20% to 14.39 euros. The sale runs through October 25, 2026 – meaning it even extends beyond the release of the Vienna Expansion.
And through Simulatoren-News, you can save a little more: The discount code SIMULATORENNEWS gives you an additional 5% discount in the official CTS shop on the reduced price.
This brings the price down to approximately 13.67 euros per vehicle instead of the regular 17.99 euros.
17.99 € regular price → 14.39 € in the Vienna sale → approx. 13.67 € with SIMULATORENNEWS
Anyone wanting to buy both Viennese trams normally pays 35.98 euros. In the sale, the total would be 28.78 euros, and with the additional 5% discount, around 27.34 euros. Compared with the regular individual prices, this leaves approximately 8.64 euros in your wallet – almost a quarter of the original price.
But the key point is not just the price: You can already buy and install both DLCs now. So you do not have to leave the vehicles untouched in your library until October; you can already use them in the current City Transport Simulator 2026.
The Flexity is the modern Viennese low-floor tram that has been operating in the Austrian capital since 2017. The CTS DLC depicts, among other things, air conditioning and heating, windshield wipers, and the AC asynchronous drive. The regular price is 17.99 euros; currently, it is 20% cheaper at 14.39 euros.

With the E1 Wien , on the other hand, we go far back into Vienna’s tram history. The series was first used by Wiener Linien in 1966. A total of 338 vehicles were built, shaping the cityscape for decades; regular passenger service in Vienna only ended in 2022. The E1 also normally costs 17.99 euros and is currently offered for 14.39 euros.

You can also use the SIMULATORENNEWS discount code with both purchases and save an additional 5%.
And especially with a view to October 13, the two DLCs become even more interesting. That is when the Vienna Expansion is released, bringing a real city to City Transport Simulator 2026 for the first time. It includes the real tram lines 37 and 38, both of which begin at Schottentor. Line 37 runs to Hohe Warte, while line 38 goes to Grinzing. The 35A bus line between Spittelau and Salmannsdorf is also being added. More than 1,000 buildings were realistically recreated for the new map.
The Vienna Expansion itself already adds the ULF A and ULF B as new Viennese trams, but of course you are not limited to these two vehicles. This is exactly where Flexity and E1 become particularly exciting: Anyone who owns them expands the vehicle selection for Vienna with a modern and a historic Viennese classic. Naturally, the trams from CTS can also be used in Vienna, including the E1 and the Flexity.
In short:
Flexity Wien: 17.99 € → 14.39 € → approx. 13.67 € with SIMULATORENNEWS
E1 Wien: 17.99 € → 14.39 € → approx. 13.67 € with SIMULATORENNEWS
Both together: 35.98 € → approx. 27.34 €
Savings compared with the regular price: approx. 8.64 € / around 24%
This means that, more than a month before release, you can put together a significantly more varied Vienna fleet: ULF A and B are coming with the Expansion, while Flexity and E1 can already be bought and driven now.
The Vienna Expansion itself will be released on October 13, 2026, for PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S. In addition to tram lines 37 and 38, it includes bus line 35A and suitable new vehicles such as the two ULF types and the Citybus C2 Vienna.
Anyone already planning to spend plenty of time driving through Vienna in October is therefore getting a particularly suitable opportunity to prepare: Get Flexity and E1 at a lower price now, try them out today – and start on the new map with a significantly larger Viennese tram fleet from October 13.
Which vehicle would you use first in Vienna: the modern Flexity, the classic E1, or one of the new ULFs? And are you already putting together your Viennese fleet before release?
