SCS shows gameplay from the Coaches DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 for the first time!

SCS Software has released the first gameplay from the upcoming Coaches DLC for Euro Truck Simulator 2 on YouTube. This now gives us the first connected impression of how the new coach section of the game is actually supposed to feel.
The focus of the video is the MAN Lion’s Coach. SCS drives a route from Duisburg to Rotterdam and shows how coach operation in ETS2 may look in the future. Alongside the vehicle itself, the current version of passenger satisfaction can also be seen. This mechanic is intended to play a role during journeys and makes it clear that the Coaches DLC is not simply about moving a bus instead of a truck.
The MAN Lion’s Coach is also shown more closely in the video.
However, one thing remains important: The footage shown is not final yet. SCS explicitly points out that features, visuals and mechanics may still be changed or refined as development continues. The video is therefore not the final release state, but a first look at the current development version.

What makes this video especially relevant is that the Coaches DLC is becoming increasingly visible as its own gameplay area within Euro Truck Simulator 2. It is not just about nostalgia, not just about comparisons with older bus simulators and not about replacing OMSI. SCS is clearly building a long-distance coach approach inside the existing ETS2 world – with long routes, familiar cities, licensed coaches and new tasks around passengers.
