Mineral Mining Simulator revealed: Why this small mining game wants to be more than breaking rocks
Thank you for your understanding!
Mineral Mining Simulator is a new Early Access game by Bewolba Studios, released on Steam on May 14, 2026. Bewolba Studios is listed as both developer and publisher, while the game is categorized as a casual, indie and simulation title with Early Access status. The basic idea is clear: you mine ore, process it into fragments, refine it further and try to turn it into valuable gemstones and sellable products. On paper, that sounds simple enough, but the real appeal seems to be less about the individual rock and more about the complete production chain behind it.
Mineral Mining Simulator does not focus only on mining and selling, but on building a stable production flow. You place machines, connect different steps, keep materials moving and need to identify bottlenecks before your nice gemstone factory starts looking like a conveyor-belt accident with a business plan. This is where the game becomes interesting for simulation fans: it is not just about pulling something out of the ground, but about organizing the process in a way that turns a small facility into a more efficient operation step by step. Later on, new machines, parallel lines, higher throughput and smoother automation are supposed to become more important. Employees are also part of the concept, taking over routine work while you focus more on planning, expansion and efficiency.
The Early Access context matters, though. The developers describe the current version as an early phase of development. According to the Steam page, the current build includes the core systems around automated mining operations, basic mining machines, processing raw minerals into sellable gemstone pieces, a separate gravel production line and a delivery system with limited destination options. For the full version, the developers currently plan more varied production outcomes, more diverse machine pipeline setups, additional mineral variations and more challenges through projects or contracts. At the same time, they make clear that these features are part of the current development plan and are not tied to a fixed timeline. That is probably the more sensible approach: better to be clear about what is planned than to turn every future idea into a hard promise wearing a safety helmet.
The community is also meant to play a role in further development. According to the Steam page, the developers plan to collect feedback through Steam discussions, in-game feedback features and bug reports. The current Early Access estimate is around 4 to 6 months, although that may change depending on development progress, testing results and community feedback. At the moment, Mineral Mining Simulator has a positive user rating on Steam, with 83 percent positive reviews from 24 user reviews. That is not a huge data set yet, but it is at least an early sign that the core idea is working for some of the first players. The game also supports single-player, Steam Cloud, Family Sharing, 20 languages and includes 14 Steam achievements.
Overall, Mineral Mining Simulator looks like a game for players who do not only want big vehicles or spectacular locations in simulation games, but also clean workflows, machine logic and the small satisfaction of finally fixing a production chain that kept stalling. Whether it becomes a strong niche title in the long run will depend heavily on how consistently Bewolba Studios expands the announced systems and how clearly the game explains its processes. In its current state, you should not expect a finished mega mining simulator, but rather an early foundation with a clear focus. If you enjoy improving processes, placing machines with purpose and turning raw materials into more valuable products step by step, Mineral Mining Simulator could be exactly the kind of game where you only want to take a quick look – and then suddenly notice that another bottleneck needs your attention.
