Here’s exactly how the Season Pass works in City Transport Simulator 2026—what you get right away and what’s coming later—and why it’s NOT a subscription!

If you buy the Season Pass 2026, you will receive all DLCs that have been announced for the year 2026. This means that right at release, you will immediately get the Citybus C2 as well as the C2K, which is an exclusive part of the Season Pass.

After that, all further content will be added automatically over the coming months as soon as it is released. This includes, among other things, the Tatra KT4D, the large Vienna DLC with bus and tram content, and finally, at the end of the year, the Flexity Graz.

So the principle is actually quite simple: buy it once – and automatically receive all 2026 DLCs as they launch.

However, there is one very important point that many people could currently misunderstand:
This is NOT a subscription model.

You do not have to pay monthly, there is no automatic renewal, and you do not need to renew the pass automatically next year.

It is explicitly a one-time purchase for all content released in 2026.

Another particularly important point many players want to know: based on the current information, all planned DLCs for this year are included in the Season Pass. And if, against expectations, another DLC for 2026 were to be announced later, the developers have stated that it would also automatically be included in the Season Pass.

So when does the pass end?

Once the last DLC of 2026 — currently expected to be the Flexity Graz — has been released, the Season Pass officially ends. But this does not mean that you lose the content.

Quite the opposite: all DLCs you received through the Season Pass remain permanently in your library.

The only things not included would be any possible future DLCs released in 2027 or later.

That is exactly why the Season Pass is basically a year pass for all 2026 content.

And honestly, for players who were planning to buy all announced content anyway, this currently looks like a very interesting model. For everyone else who only wants individual DLCs, it may of course not be the right choice.

Was it important for you that this is not a subscription? Are you getting the pass? Do you think this model is fair? Are the 2026 contents enough for you? Are you most excited for Vienna?
