DID YOU KNOW that Subway Sim 2 has dynamic Daisy displays?
What is meant here are the DAISY displays on the platforms. Many players mainly focus on the route, signals, stations, and vehicles while driving. But the displays above the platforms are actually a fascinating detail that makes the Berlin subway feeling noticeably more realistic.
These displays have been recreated true to the original in the game. This is not just about the visual appearance with an adapted font and a modern 3D model, but also about the functionality behind it. What is especially interesting is that the DAISY displays can show delays and therefore react dynamically to the course of the game.
It is exactly these small details that often make the difference. While many players immediately notice new vehicles or graphical improvements, these kinds of elements work more subconsciously to make the everyday station atmosphere feel much more authentic.
So at the next stop, it might be worth consciously looking up at the display for once.
Did you already notice this? Do you pay attention to details like this? How important is realism to you?
