The bus simulator craze is really heating up: Following *The Bus* and *CTS 2026*, the NEXT major bus simulator is on its way!
With Bus Bound, the next major release is now officially set—and it’s coming from a studio that is anything but unknown. The game is being developed by stillalive studios, the exact team behind Bus Simulator 16, Bus Simulator 18, and Bus Simulator 21. That is exactly why the title should immediately be exciting for many players, because it already carries a lot of experience from the bus simulator series.
Now the release date is finally known as well: Bus Bound will be released on 30 April. This places the game only shortly behind the other major releases of the last few weeks. After The Bus on 26 March and CTS 2026 on 14 April, the next major title follows directly. That is exactly what makes the current phase so extraordinary for the scene, because it is rare for several important releases to be this close together.
The price is now also confirmed: €29.99.
In terms of content, Bus Bound focuses on a lively, fully simulated fictional city with a dynamic day-and-night cycle, different weather conditions, and a noticeably more alive environment. What makes it especially interesting is that you are not just driving routes—you are actively helping to develop the city further. Bus stops can be upgraded, new routes are unlocked, and entire districts can evolve through your transport network.
In addition, there are officially licensed American vehicles such as the New Flyer Xcelsior 40ft CNG and the Blue Bird Sigma, with more than a dozen vehicles expected to be available at launch. Another major highlight for many will likely be the multiplayer, because you can work together with up to three additional players, operate multiple routes at the same time, and expand your network as a team.
That is exactly why the market situation is now becoming really exciting. Within a very short period of time, The Bus, CTS 2026, and Bus Bound are now standing directly next to each other. Three different concepts, three different approaches, and probably three very different communities.
The real question therefore becomes almost unavoidable:
Which bus simulator will establish itself in the long term this spring?
Will you play Bus Bound? Which release interests you the most right now—The Bus, CTS 2026, or Bus Bound? Do you trust stillalive studios to make a strong comeback? Is €29.99 fair for you?
