City Transport Simulator 2026 introduces ticket selling – but do you have to use it?

Ticket selling is one of the distinctive features of City Transport Simulator 2026. Passengers board the bus, ask for a ticket and you operate the ticket printer inside the vehicle. For some players, this represents an important part of everyday bus operations.

At the same time, it can add extra tasks while driving. Especially when you want to focus on navigating traffic and keeping the schedule, ticket selling can feel like juggling two jobs at once.

Because of that, the developers included several settings that give players more flexibility. You can actually control how often passengers request tickets.

The game allows you to adjust the probability to very often, often, sometimes, or never. If you choose “never,” the ticket printer in the bus is completely disabled. In that case, passengers simply board and take their seats while you focus entirely on driving.

There is also another option called “Off with printer.” In this mode, the printer still remains visible and usable in the vehicle, which means you can still access ITCS information if needed. However, passengers will no longer ask you for tickets.

This system essentially lets players choose how they want to experience the simulator. Some will enjoy handling ticket sales as part of the job, while others will prefer uninterrupted driving along their routes.

Do you like the idea of selling tickets in a bus simulator? Or would you rather focus only on driving? Would you enable the ticket selling feature? Which setting would you choose – often, sometimes, or never?
