In just three days, The Bus reaches a major milestone. On March 26, 2026, the Berlin bus simulator will leave Early Access and launch as a full release on PC as well as PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S for the first time. For many players this means finally exploring Berlin from the driver’s seat of a city bus. However, one question keeps appearing in our community. Many players know some of the routes already, but it’s easy to lose track of how much of the city is actually represented in the game. Once you combine several bus lines, a larger network slowly emerges. But which Berlin districts can you actually drive through right now in The Bus?

The current map of The Bus focuses mainly on central parts of Berlin as well as a few surrounding districts. When you look at the available routes together, you can see that a large part of the inner city and several nearby areas are already represented in the simulation.

One of the most important areas is Mitte. Many famous locations of the German capital are located here, and several bus routes pass through the district. Routes such as 100, 142, 147, and 245 take you through central areas around Alexanderplatz, Strausberger Platz, Märkisches Museum, and Unter den Linden. The central station is also included as a major stop.

Another key area is Tiergarten. Several routes travel through this district, especially around well-known landmarks such as the Großer Stern and the Victory Column. You will also pass places like the Philharmonie and the area near the Zoo.

Moving further west, parts of Charlottenburg appear in the game as well. Multiple routes start or pass through areas near Hertzallee, located behind Zoo station. This area acts as an important starting point for several bus lines.

The northwestern part of Berlin is represented through the TXL route, which takes you toward Tegel and the area near the former airport. This extends the playable map further beyond the inner city.

On the eastern side of the map, players reach areas around Ostbahnhof, Michelangelostraße, and Warschauer Straße. These routes lead toward Friedrichshain and nearby districts.

When all routes are combined, the playable area includes several districts of Berlin. In particular, Mitte, Tiergarten, Charlottenburg, parts of Tegel/Reinickendorf, and areas near Friedrichshain are currently represented in the simulation.

With the full release on March 26, this virtual Berlin will become accessible to many new players on consoles as well. And for many of them, that moment might mark the start of their own small exploration of the city – just from behind the wheel of a city bus.
