Many Subway Sim 2 players are eagerly waiting for the H train in the Großprofil mod. Now there are new development updates that show clear progress on the project.

For many fans of the Berlin subway system, the H train is an essential part of the network. That’s why a lot of players are closely following its development in the Großprofil mod for Subway Sim 2. One question keeps appearing again and again in the community: when will we finally be able to drive it?

The train is not finished yet, but development has clearly moved forward. In recent days, the developers focused mainly on core systems. One important example is the door control system, which has now been implemented in the game. Systems like this are crucial in a simulator, since they directly affect how the train operates during gameplay.

There has also been progress on the vehicle sound. A first version already exists and is currently being expanded step by step. You can imagine it like building a soundtrack layer by layer – first the basic audio, and later more detailed elements are added.

At the same time, the driver’s cab is becoming more complete. The control desk in particular has made strong progress recently and now already features its first textures. Not every detail is finished yet, but the driver’s workspace is clearly recognizable now. It’s a bit like assembling a puzzle where more and more pieces fall into place.

Overall, the cab is slowly approaching a stage where only a few larger tasks remain. Many of the core elements are already present. From here on, development increasingly focuses on fine details, polishing systems and fully integrating everything into the game.

There is still no confirmed release date. However, the recent progress shows that development is steadily moving forward. And with each update, the moment gets closer when you will finally be able to drive the H train through the tunnels of Subway Sim 2.
