Not every feature in a simulator has to be huge. Sometimes it’s the small details that make a game feel alive. And that’s exactly what City Transport Simulator 2026 is adding with a charming new feature.

With City Transport Simulator 2026, launching on April 14, many major features are arriving in the game. Weather, seasons, ticket systems and new vehicles will change the experience significantly.

But there is also a much smaller feature that deserves attention.

From now on, bus and tram drivers will greet each other in traffic.

When another bus or tram approaches, the driver might wave or greet you. It’s a tiny interaction that might seem insignificant at first – but it adds a surprising amount of life to the city.

Anyone familiar with real public transport knows this moment. When two drivers from the same company pass each other, they often exchange a quick greeting.

It’s like a silent “hello” between colleagues.

That’s exactly why I personally love this feature. It doesn’t change gameplay mechanics or add new missions – but it makes the simulator feel more human and alive.

Instead of driving alone through a city filled with AI vehicles, it suddenly feels like you’re part of a real transport network with other drivers around you.

And sometimes, that’s all it takes to make a simulation feel much more authentic.
