Seasons are coming to City Transport Simulator 2026!

With the release of City Transport Simulator 2026 on April 14, the city will change not only because of rain or sunshine. The game will also feature seasonal changes, meaning players can drive buses and trams through a city that evolves throughout the year.

At first glance this might sound like a small feature, but it can make a huge difference. In real life, driving the same route in spring feels completely different than in winter. In spring the city turns green, summer brings bright sunshine, autumn covers the streets with leaves, and winter may bring snow.

In a way, the simulator will finally get its own calendar.

These seasonal changes help the city feel alive. A route you normally drive during summer can suddenly feel very different in autumn. Trees turn orange, the streets might look wet after rain, and the atmosphere changes entirely.

And let’s be honest: driving a bus through a snowy city simply creates a completely different mood compared to a sunny summer afternoon.

Together with the new dynamic weather system, seasons will add much more variety to the simulator. Instead of always driving through the same environment, the city changes over time.

Spring, summer, autumn and winter could make the simulator feel like four different versions of the same city.

Sometimes it’s these smaller features that make a simulation feel much more immersive.
