Finally released! New Augsburg – Munich route for Train Simulator is now available!

The new Augsburg – Munich route runs from Augsburg station to Munich Central Station, covering approximately 70 kilometers of railway.

This connection is one of the busiest routes in southern Germany and plays an important role in the rail network connecting Munich with many other cities.

In the simulator, this means plenty of traffic, major stations and varied train operations.

The route connects two large cities and passes through typical southern German landscapes. Anyone who has travelled between Augsburg and Munich in real life knows that the line supports both fast long-distance services and regional trains.

To match this variety, RSSLO includes several vehicles with the route.

The package features the DB BR 182 locomotive along with multiple passenger and freight wagons, including DB Bpmz 295, the DB DABpzb cab car, and freight wagons such as Snps, Habbins, and Eanos.

This allows players to operate both passenger services and freight trains on the route.

The add-on also includes several scenarios specifically designed for the route. These scenarios are available in both English and German.

However, to play all scenarios, some additional payware assets are required. These include the ICE 3M High Speed Train, the DB BR 423, and the DB 463 Mireo (Arverio).

Such additional requirements are common in Train Simulator routes, as scenarios often use existing rolling stock to create more realistic traffic.
