Regioshuttle branch line & city bus hub: Bad Holzkirchen station in our Südniedersachsen map

Our developing Region Südniedersachsen map for OMSI 2 continues to expand. Today we introduce Bad Holzkirchen station, located within the city of Gronau, the largest city on the map. But what makes this station special?

Bad Holzkirchen serves as the terminal for city bus lines 12 and 42. Both lines are fully drivable and switch to each other at the station.

Several AI-operated regional bus routes also depart from the station into surrounding areas.

The station is also served hourly by a regional train. The branch line is single-track and non-electrified, meaning Regioshuttle units operate here. If you are at the station at the right time, you can observe these trains passing through.

Please note: the images represent a development state. Our custom-built DFI currently has no font implemented, so departure displays are not yet visible. Bus destination signs are also still being finalized and will be added soon.
