New images from the industrial area behind the motorway interchange: SpencerHill reveals the future Line 27 route in Sylbach!

After leaving the small rural stretch behind the interchange, the environment shifts noticeably. You move from open countryside into a developing industrial area. While still clearly work-in-progress, the layout is already visible. The area along the motorway will be expanded further with additional companies and infrastructure.

The transition between rural land and industry is deliberately designed. Fields blend into warehouses and logistics firms, inspired by real-life Ruhr region examples such as Hattingen and Ratingen-Lintorf. This gradual change creates a believable driving experience rather than an abrupt shift.

Within the industrial zone, several logistics companies and smaller businesses have already settled. A supermarket is also present. Roads are wider and structured for commercial traffic. In the future, Line 27 will run parallel to the motorway through this district. Starting at Sylbach Central Station, it will pass through the industrial zone and later continue via a dedicated public transport corridor toward Wehrholz. A detailed presentation of the line is planned for the future.

Returning to the main road, the route leads toward the residential area, the former mine site, and eventually the city center. Here, Lines 55 and 35 will intersect. Small shops and local businesses line the road, increasing urban density. At the “Glashüttenwerk” stop, the industrial complex itself is already visible in the background.
