Released on May 14, 2015, Scandinavia introduced Sweden, Norway and Denmark. It added 27 cities, new ports, ferry terminals and over 80 new cargo types, along with improved weather and day/night visuals.
For many, this was when ETS2 became truly massive.
But it wasn’t the first DLC.
The very first map expansion for Euro Truck Simulator 2 was released on September 19, 2013 and was called:
Going East!
It expanded the base map into Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia and Hungary.
The DLC added 13 major cities including Warsaw, Krakow, Ostrava, Budapest and Košice, plus numerous smaller towns.
The roads included highways, narrow rural routes and construction zones, offering more challenging driving compared to the original base map.
Going East! laid the foundation for all future expansions.
