These Bus Brands Are Still Missing in City Transport Simulator!

The first obvious name is Mercedes. In many German cities, a Citaro is almost guaranteed. The O530, its facelift version, the C2, and now the eCitaro dominate urban fleets. Especially for players coming from OMSI, Mercedes vehicles are extremely familiar. From a logical standpoint, adding Mercedes would be a consistent next step.

But the market extends beyond Mercedes.

Solaris is another major manufacturer. The Urbino 12 and Urbino 18 shape public transport fleets across Europe. Particularly in Poland, Solaris holds a leading position, but its presence across Germany, Austria, and Scandinavia is also significant. Adding a Solaris model would introduce a distinct design language to the game.

If City Transport Simulator ever expands beyond purely urban environments, brands like Setra and Iveco become relevant. Models such as the Setra S315NF or the Iveco Crossway LE are common in regional and rural operations. These would be realistic additions should the simulator broaden its scope.

At present, CTS clearly focuses on city transport. Yet the real-world bus market offers far more variety than currently represented. Expanding the brand portfolio would not only introduce new vehicles but also different cockpit layouts and driving characteristics.

So the open question remains: Which brand will be next? Which bus brand do you miss most in CTS? Should CTS introduce regional buses?
