Iveco S-Way Receives New 6x2 Configuration in ETS2 Update 1.58!

With the recently released Update 1.58 for Euro Truck Simulator 2, the Iveco S-Way has received an additional chassis configuration. The truck is now available in a 6x2 setup featuring a steering and liftable middle axle.

A 6x2 chassis refers to a three-axle configuration where six wheels are present, but only two are powered. This setup is commonly used for medium to heavy-duty trucks, as it can increase payload capacity while helping reduce fuel consumption. The additional axle can either steer or be lifted when not needed. This exact configuration is now available within ETS2.

The new option expands the available configurations and allows drivers to tailor the Iveco S-Way to different hauling requirements. Depending on trailer combinations or route types, the extra axle may play a role in gameplay setups.

Alongside the new 6x2 variant, general bugs were fixed and the entire truck model was optimized.
