In addition to BR-147 services, a significant increase in AI traffic is planned. Confirmed additions include NRM BR 101 workings, BR 110 services on the Bremen–Oldenburg line, and an ICE 3M appearing in Mannheim with a limited number of playable runs.
Further AI services will add more variety to operations. These include BR 425 units, ICE 1 services on Kassel–Würzburg, ICE T workings between Frankfurt and Fulda, TGV movements in Stuttgart, and ÖBB 1116 services in the same area. Together, these additions are intended to make German routes feel more active and interconnected.
Sound design has also been addressed in detail. A dedicated reference trip was carried out to record key sounds such as traction motors, horns, brakes, bogies, HVAC systems and the pantograph. Only a few cab interaction sounds were reused from existing recordings where components are identical.
The BR 147 will also support train faults and onboard announcements, which are part of Train Sim World 6’s core systems. These features are meant to add more operational variety during services. While a release date has not yet been announced, the scope and direction of the BR 147 project are now clearly defined.
